Eco features

The C1030 Eco is built with 10% recycling materials and comes in brown carton packing with soy ink printing. It's energy-friendly with a CIPA of 150 to 200 - that's 10% more power efficient than previous models.

Smart Scene Detection

Now you can take beautiful pictures anywhere, anytime! The Smart Scene Detection function autimatically detects 8 types of scenes and chooses the appropriate camera settings that best fits your needs: Landscape, Portrait, Backlight, Night Scene, Night Portrait, Backlight Portrait, Sunset, and Macro.

5cm Macro

With the 5cm Macro function to automatically scan the setting and switch to Macro Mode when you're taking pictures up close, everything will come out with perfect focus!

Blink Detector

Ever find photos of you with your eyes half closed? Accidentally blinking when your photo's being taken can be quite troublesome. Thanks to the Blink Detector function, you'll never have to worry about unflattering photos ever again! This funciton alerts you when a subject has blinked, allowing the shot to be retaken immediately or saved according to your preference.

Love Portrait Mode

Take a perfect picture of just the two of you with the Love Portrait mode! Once set to the Love Portrait mode, the C1030 Eco will wait untill the two faces are close together in the frame before it takes the shot to include the both of you in one single shot.

Smile Catch Mode

The Smile Catch Mode makes sure every smile is captured on screen! This function allows you to continuously capture smile after smile automatically whenever a smiling face is detected. To exit this mode, all you have to do is press the shutter button again.

Auto Face Tracking Mode

The C1030 Eco can detect and track up to 10 faces when you shoot images that are filled with action and people - making sure every face is perfectly presented with superior clarity and color.

Beauty Enhancer

The Beauty Enhancer helps to soften and lighten up the skin color of your subject, giving them a beautiful, natural glow. Now that you can do your retouching on your camera, you'll never have to go through the hassle of transfering and modifying photos on your computer.

S.S.F. Mode

Sometimes, doesn't matter how hard you try to steady your hands during picture-taking, some pictures still come out blurred. The unique S.S.F. (Super Shake-Free) mode compensates for any shaky hand movements and eliminates unwanted blurs, making picture taking a piece of cake. What's more, this mode now comes with a built-in hot key for much quicker access!

AF Assist Lamp

With the AF assist lamp, you can now take photos of the beautiful night views of your favorite city! All you have to do half press the shutter buttun to activate this function.

P/Av/Tv/M Mode

With a choice of modes, you can now be as professional as you wish to be. From Av (adjusts aperture to desired depth of field) to Tv (adjusts shutter to suitable exposure), Manual (adjusts both aperture & shutter), and Program (sets aperture/shutter automatically according to environment preferences), you can demonstrate your skills as a burgeoning photographer or a seasoned picture snapper.

High Sensitivity ISO 6400

The C1030 Eco comes with a high sensitivity of ISO 6400* to ensure every picture taken in darkly lit settings comes out perfect without the use of the artificial flash - whether you're enjoying the sunset at a beach or having a romantic dinner date at a candlelit bistro.
